Beautiful, moving film
Just saw this film at the 2010 Santa Barbara Film Festival. It's really excellent, well made, very very moving meditation on death and grief. Highly recommend. Great cast. Heavy, for sure, not for everybody if you aren't in the mood. But very well made. Ally Sheedy and Tovah Feldshuh are GREAT. Jim Gaffigan was great in a smaller role as a gallery owner and added a nice touch to the casting. Jean Bressard was WONDERFUL as Alain. He and Emily Skinner shine with some wonderful chemistry. They were my favorite part of the film. The cinematography was excellent. Shot on HD, looked amazing!
