The late Australian actor Rod Taylor, whose most recent role is in Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds, was a versatile and popular leading man, equally adept at romantic comedy, adventure and dramatic roles. Taylor's rugged on-screen and off-screen persona created a brand of Australian masculinity now enjoyed by actors such as Russell Crowe, Hugh Jackman and Chris Hemsworth. Not a bad overview of the great Rod Taylor's life and career, with plenty of clips from many of his films, didn't really delve into much of his private life, mainly focusing on his screen roles on the big and small screen, although giving some mention of his first, and best TV series, 'Hong Kong', there was no mention of any of his later series like 'Bearcats' or 'The Oregon Trail'. This was more or less completed just before Rod died in early 2015. No mention was made of his passing at the end. Still, a decent enough tribute to a much under rated star!
