Wherever Cerina Strickland and her sister Tabitha go, emotional devastation is sure to follow in their wake. Shielding them from the darker consequences of their fickle and self-centered relationships, Stuart Clemons has been their best, and only, friend since childhood. But when Cerina, jealous for his undivided attention, tries to sabotage his burgeoning relationship with Bridgett, a whimsical divorcee she ironically fixed him up with, the girls' friendship with Stuart becomes strained to the breaking point. It couldn't come at a worse time, as Cerina contends with the unexpected and unwanted neediness of the community college professor she seduced for a B+ and Tabitha struggles to rebuff the advances of her psychotic ex-cop boyfriend while dealing with her emerging feelings for Stuart's crap-talking bartender friend, Wogbe. The girls must grow up and learn to handle their own problems or risk permanently fracturing their friendship with Stuart.

A fantastic movie, all a round.
I got to see Rattle Basket last week when it screened at the Wine Country Film Festival in Napa. We really were not planning on going, but it was Saturday afternoon and me and my girlfriend thought what the hell. We had seen a couple screenings during the previous years festival. The movie was truly unique. A pleasure to watch. I think that describes it the best. The acting was just spot on and the entire audience loved it. Everyone around us was way into it, including us. You don't see interesting, smart, provocative and honest movies everyday. The movie had it all, drama and comedy. I am not going to sit here and write a review of the film. I was checking out the page and saw that no one had commented on it yet. I just wanted to let people know that this is something worth searching out to see. Chaz
Interesting Film
It's an interesting film but I'm still trying to really figure out what the film is about. I watched it at the Memphis Onlocation Film Festival with the filmmakers in attendance and they did a Q & A after the screening. It's their second feature film, so I'd be interested in watching their first film which they said was a zombie film that takes places at a handicap ranch??? I sounds pretty original. Anyway, this film felt a little long in places but it also had some great scenes too. The sister relationship in the film is kinda different for what I've seen in usual independent films. It's a hard film to comment on but it's worth a look if you come across it.
