  WHAT SCAMMERS!! This film was produced by Little Books Little Films, a prodco claiming to support and discover new talent. "No Glitz or Glamour... We Produce", reads their website. Okay. That much is true. In reality, these people are possibly the most shameless scammers around. They simply have little or no professional skills, except maybe convincing their investors to fork over money for nothing! After three years in business, they have held totally bogus "Million Dollar" contests, where absolutely no one won or ever got paid. LBLF has had fake "casting calls" or other contests promising to award some unknown artist with a big dollar contract---NEVER happened. Just plain old con people, posing as artists, giving real artists a bad name. My Name Is Nobody, by Phillip Penza, the "Owner" of LBLF, claims this is a true story. It is not a true story. Almost none of it is true. One true thing, he did "star" in his own film, about him, written by him. Oh, and it IS based on his self-published book. I will say, I really love the guts, or absurdity, of a 56 year old man playing himself at 18 years old. Even Laura Mercier couldn't scrape the old off and make Penza look young on screen. Of course, this film has probably never seen a cinema house screen. ROCKY, he and the film are not. I admire the hell of of this guy for scheming this whole thing up, and using other people's money to produce a low budget, almost-unwatchable, fake biopic, that has literally no original plot or dialogue. It's all cliché!! It is his first film, so hopefully he and his troupe of players will actually learn something about storytelling and make better films in the future. One cool thing, they somehow convinced Lorenzo Lamas to be in the film. Maybe Lamas needed the money. And hey, if LBLF doesn't like this bad review, they can always make better films that actually have a chance of distribution. And they can be secure enough in their story line to not lie about the fact the entire thing is fiction. We love fiction!! DO NOT pay for this film. And do not expect it EVER to be on NETFLIX or any other legitimate stream. And if Phillip Penza shows up at your door asking for money or promising to make you a star, MOVE! Or call the cops. I know, I know... Why bash on poor Penza. After all, he really did write, produce, direct and star in his own film. That alone deserves respect. And I would love to respect him, except for the actual fact that I met him once and instantly found him to be one of the sleaziest, cheapest, two-timing egomaniacs with no real truth, that I have ever seen. He did have a neat hat though. And showed me a picture of him and Eric Roberts. Said they were the best of friends. He might've been referring to another Eric Roberts.
