Fathers of the Sport (2008) Reviews
Close but just missed
I was disappointed. I heard nothing of Earl the goat and the games he played there. After the movie rebound, I was a fan of the street game. It would have been good to see Kareem or Hawkins talk about street games and the other NBA players that play in these games, present day also.It was great to see guys doing something for the streets and to see the need of the street game to keep people off the streets. Wish they would have went into more of what happened in their lives and what they got out of it. I will say that this was very well put together, great to see DR. J but there are so many better cuts they could have used to display his talent. In closing, I just felt there was so much more depth of the game that was missed.
