  Cute little love story,... kind of predictable but I enjoyed it anyway . So nice to see the 6 million Dollar Man and the bionic woman back together again !!!

• Loses steam quickly

  This one started out pretty promisingly: Cute heroine, and appealing, yet not too handsome to be real, hero, and a great paring of Lindsey Wagner (the Bionic Woman) and Lee Majors ($6,000,000 man) as the older secondary love interests. It also had a hiss-worthy evil rival for the hero's affection. It did devolve as it went on, though. There was just no reason for the cute vet and the worthy owner of the animal shelter not to be together before the movie was half-way through. The TV reporter rival was thoroughly unpleasant all the way through to absolutely everyone, including the hero. He had an instant rapport with our vet, lots in common, and were childhood sweethearts. The mean girl did not even like dogs! And didn't even bother to pretend! There was a lame filler inserted that was supposed to keep the soulmates apart and movie to get to the end of two hours. The evil one gets him a prestigious national job of his dreams. But it was all a lie to try to get him to New York and was quickly exposed. The whole thing just lost steam less than half way through, and was artificially padded in order to make it last longer. Would have been a better segment on Love American Style or The Love Boat.

• Predictable, but pleasant

  Disclaimer: I am a big Jen Lilley fan. This is the kind of movie and role that sweet and charming Jen Lilley thrives in. As usual per Hallmark movies the hero/heroine moves back home after having located to the big city and success. This time it's Jen Lilley who returns home only to find her high school sweetheart involved with a mean, glamorous rival. Naturally, after 2 long hours of plotting and scheming with help Jen Lilley and her high school sweet heart get back together again as Dan, her high school boyfriend finally comes to his senses and realizes the mean Kristi is totally wrong for him. After all, he's a dog lover and she's a dog hater. Lee Majors and Lindsay Wagner make an interesting love interest in themselves. All in all, a pleasant, predictable movie that all Jen Lilley fans with enjoy.

• slightly above average Halmark fare

  Halmark, is now producing these two hour formula movies on industrial scale. In doing so, the quality of the individual movies has lessened. This movie hits all of its favorite formulas. The female lead. A smart pretty professional. (here a vet) Had a crush when she was young. Meets crush later in life. He is handsome and in either a very masculine (firefighter, policeman) or very artistic (baker, artist) or caring profession. (here he loves stray dogs) Unfortunately there is a pretty shallow PG vixen in the picture with the guy. (check mark again here) In the end he finds out who she really is and the couple winds up together. (Spoiler) I actually like this movie because it did not stray from this formula in one point. In fact it could serve as a template of almost all Hal-mark movies. That being said, I did enjoy it. The script was quality. The acting believable. It even had a supporting role from the Fall Guy. Some if nothing else is on, I would suggest this is a worthy diversion for two hours, but do not turn on the DVR.

• Nice Weekend watch

  Enjoyed the movie. Happy they threw in that cute little nod to the Bionic couple when prince was frolicking in the field!
