Forgettable
The movie tries hard to keep your interest with the element of mystery but just fails.I think the problem is the poor writing.
I could have been you.
Could have spoilers. Vincent Brady (Xavier Samuel) is a novelist with writer's block. He is in love with Carrie Johnson (Morgan Griffin) and plans to propose. His first wife was murdered and no one was ever charged. Many people suspect him. Then at about a half hour, we discover the evil twin whom he allows to blackmail him rather than turn him into the police. The film then goes into an overly cliche cabin in the woods film. And you could write something better. Guide: F-word. Sex. no nudity.
It was Nice
Good movie with some thriller (not bad), you can enjoy it
Pointless
Suffers throughout from the weak plot. Not much happens, and what does happen doesn't make much sense. The characters make bizarre and inexplicable action choices, which are clearly contrived to carry the story along to its uninspired conclusion. Even the well trodden cliches are dealt with poorly. Acting and/or direction are/is below average. It's always hard to know which one is dragging down the other, but neither is better than average at best. The musical score is competent, and probably the only redeeming feature of the film, but it can't salvage it from being a pointless waste of time.
