Disappointing
Wasn't very creative time waster I've seen better movies with little budget do way better than this don't waste your time unless your trying to fall asleep
Not Great, but Decent
This movie was clearly based on the Triangle Shirt Factory fire of 1911, in which 146 people died. I think it's an interesting concept to intertwine this real life event into a horror movie. This movie did an okay job of portraying a ghost story, though the CGI was lacking. The building was also sufficiently creepy. What it lacked, though, was an in depth look into the history of the building and the fire. That would have upped the appeal and the horror of the movie a great deal. I'll also have to say that the ending just didn't work. Actually, there were a few endings (when you watch, you'll know what I mean) which seemed odd, as though the director didn't know which would to use and which one to cut, so he decided to use both. But the ending (not involving any of the characters) clearly had an agenda attached to it and took away from the movie in spades.
Why didn't you tell us?
Kate is a residential real estate agent who was requested to sell a commercial factory. We know from the opening photo sequence there was a fire there in 1911 killing garment workers. Kate shows up being bubbly, attempting to sell this factory to a group of buyers. When they reach the top floor, they realize that the place had a fire...and they are trapped...and of course the ghostly image on the DVD cover. Instead of being trapped inside a haunted house, they opt to change it to a factory. Unfortunately they couldn't create decent characters. Azura Skye wasn't convincing as the lead. The ghosts lacked any kind of good scare factor. I liked the sound track at times as a softer version of scare music used in the 40's and 50's. Guide: F-word. No sex or nudity.
