• 'Ante Up' on this film, it's worth the bet.

  Ante up has a main character i found myself rooting for who is an everyday guy with a wild imagination and a knack for telling a crazy story that he swears really happened but sounds more like well thought out lie to impress his friends. One day he unveils the mother of all his hard to believe stories, claiming that in his new apartment there is an oddly placed light switch that doesn't seem to actually turn anything on , or does it? after years of dating a girl that he loves but can't get any 'love' from he accidentally discovers that this odd light switch does turn something on....his girlfriend and every time he toggles the mystery switch his girlfriend can't keep her hand off him. When he tells his friends about his amazing discovery the guys naturally believe it's one of wild tales of glory but he insists thats its for real and agrees to make a friendly bet with a little " wager cherry" on top, so if the switch really works he should have no problem getting his girlfriend and her hot step-sister in a threesome, hilarity follows with a little drama and a mini car chase. i enjoyed this movie very much, the story was interesting and the script was solid, while not always perfect ' ante up' was well worth my time and money. The writer/Director did a fine job in his first time out.

  I really enjoyed watching this. Fun, cute story, and dirty humor that is so funny that your grandmother would laugh. Lead actor (played Frank) did a great job and I can see him going places. I went out to L.A. and figured I'd catch this movie at a theater down the street and my friend and I couldn't stop laughing. Plus, there's nothing wrong with a bunch of eye candy in a film. The humor was great, the actors were amazing and there's no boring parts that tends to happen in movies a lot for me. I'd definitely tell others (and have) about this film and that it's worth watching. The story is pretty clever and I was impressed with the quality of the film used. I believe this is the first movie for this director and I greatly look forward to his future work. I think over time his writing will improve and greater scripts will emerge from this young up and coming writer/director. I definitely see the person that played Frank to go places as well. Could this be the next Tim Burton/Johnny Depp duo!? I want to be quoted on that in the future if it happens!
