• A good and enjoyable movie

  I really liked this film. 3 Days of Normal is a cute story about life in a small New Hampshire town. The cinematography of this beautiful and picturesque rural town was great. It was an entertaining movie to watch and I laughed at many parts. I think the acting is good and it has an interesting plot. 3 Days of Normal is simply a good, fun movie to watch. It is a well made independent film and I hope many other people have an opportunity to see it. I recommend this movie and hope others will have a chance to watch and enjoy it as much as I did. I will definitely be telling people about this film. This was a job well done. I loved this movie! All in all, a good and enjoyable movie. If you have not seen it, I hope you will.

• if you are pleasantly asleep and want nothing more , this works

  "Slight" is the word that springs spontaneously to mind after watching this tiny and trite, almost microscopic film. It feels more like a long preview of something better than a completed piece of art and we are left waiting for and wanting something, anything to seriously surprise or deeply delight us. Very little ever occurs at all, no characters are layered, or unpredictable or transformed, and much of what action there is is transparently unreal and therefore uninvolving. And yet, movies like this deserve their due faint praise, if for no other reason than that they successfully rise above the great and nearly constant morass of truly gaggable junkwork that so many current features seem to be made entirely of. It is not awful. It is peaceful and pleasant and pretty throughout. No jiggly camera, no cartoonish sex or antihuman violence. The acting and production is professionally competent. I'm almost grateful after having seen it... it didn't hurt me. It didn't empty my soul or defile my mind, and these days that is almost enough for a recommendation. Almost, almost. When just not being betrayed by a movie feels like a needed gift... what does that tell you about where we are in cinema today?

• Cute and Fun

  Biased as I am since it is set in the town that I live in, I found this movie to be cute, endearing and well made. For the most part the directors stayed away from the temptation to add violent or objectionable material while still creating a realistic portrayal of real people going about their daily lives. The cinematography was worth of an independent film such as this one, with unusual but revealing camera work throughout. The script stuck to a simple narrative while accurately depicting life as a local in a small town. There were a few continuity issues, but these were not recognizable in the moment. The acting, for the most part, was strong. The current of the film was laid back and made one feel at home. All in all, a good, family oriented film.

• Review of the movie 3 days of normal

  I along with Most of our small town went to the Lodge to watch the movie,My Husband and 3 children were about 40 minutes into the film.when we had to leave.. in just that short amount of time we laughed soooo hard our ribs hurt! I was very sad we didn't get to finish But my husband was fresh from surgery the day before and wasn't feeling well.needless to say i will be one of the first in line to buy this movie! and i intend of purchasing one for all 5 of my children for Christmas.Job well done folks! we LOVED it! And i really hope those of you who have not seen it give it a chance! you wont be disjointed at all i can assure you.

• She needs a break, and a change, so this little escape could not have come at a better time.

  It is exactly the movie you expect it to be. There are no surprises, but it is still a good movie. Such a sweet tale that will pull you in, and make you comfortable for a spell. The cast is all very believable, and you can tell that they are well, and truly committed to the rolls. Nikki could not be more vapid when she first arrives in town, and you can see the immediate bond form between her, and the locals, especially her new leading man, Bill. He just doesn't know it yet. For such a wholesome film the swearing of some side characters seemed out of place, and disconnected, really made it easy to tell what was just filler. This movie will touch you and you will be glad you sat for a while, and lived with these folks. I Enjoyed my time in the country, and you will too.
