  I saw this film without expectatives, because the Mexican horror cinema is actually a bad copy of Asian horror films, mixed with other genres or remakes of old movies, like "El libro de piedra" or "Hasta el viento tiene miedo". But I had a nice surprise with "24 cuadros de terror", because, in some points, I remembered the Argento's style, because of the elegance and centered of the shots, the ubiquity of primary colors in scene, and characters like the fragile heroin and the tormented mastermind with a dark plot. Unusual and sub rated, this film written, produced and directed by the same artist, used only four or five scenarios, very well exploited, that take the audience to different ages and moments in the life of the characters (between seventy's and the present). I'm not saying that this film is a piece of art, an "Argento", but is a very good achievement for a cast and crew well intentioned in the creativity of other forms to tell a history, in a film industry that almost never go beyond the limits of horror.
